When did you start with Cross Country Allied?

I started working with Cross Country as an Admin Assistant 16 years ago.

What's your favorite part of working for Cross Country Allied

I love the rapport with the HCPS and the relationships that I have built over the years. I have been the reason for people getting married. People have come to me with no plan at all and I found them their dream job where they then found the next steps in their career and personal life. I’ve seen babies come and families begin because of the connections I’ve built at Cross Country.

What advice would you give a new traveler with Cross Country Allied?

To come to the table open minded, with more than one location in mind…be open to a different clinical setting to get you to the right geographical location, or a different location to get the proffered clinical setting.

What's your best memory in your time with Cross Country Allied?

When our team was base out of the Malden office and the comradery we had.

Within your current role, what motivates you towards success?

As a Senior Recruiter, the best part of my jobs is the Satisfaction of being able to get people to their dream jobs and locations, also to be able to place referrals. I regularly check in throughout someone’s assignment or keep an eye on what past travelers are doing through social media. Keeping in touch with current and past individuals keeps me motivated.

What advice would you give a new traveler with Cross Country Allied?

Always come without having a fixed mindset. To be successful you must be flexible. Don’t go into a situation thinking all you want to do is “X” because a realistic expectation will allow you to do so much more and have so many more experiences.

There is so much to experience in the travel industry. You just must explore your options. If you’re coming in with 5 goal destinations and you get within 50 miles of them, you’re doing fantastic!

Everything is an experience. And it’s all a good experience.

Outside of the office, what are you most passionate about?

My son and my family. Our vacation home on the lake and spending quality time together!

If you won a dream vacation to anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Turks and Caicos or anywhere in the Caribbean with my whole family and all the kids.
