Traveler Tips
Will your next assignment as a traveling physical therapist be in Seattle? The city has so many attractions that the must-see list is long. We’ll get you started with a review of five places and attractions you don’t want to miss.

Space Needle

The world-famous Space Needle is Seattle’s most popular attraction. Get a panoramic view of the city at 520 feet from the observation deck. Watch pedestrians and traffic on city streets, or watch ferries glide along Elliott Bay. After you’ve taken it all in, savor lunch or dinner at Sky City Restaurant and enjoy spectacular, 360 degree views. It will probably be one of your most memorable dining experiences while on assignment as a physical therapist in Seattle.

Chihuly Garden and Glass

Just steps away from Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibits the work of world-renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly. His work is featured in more than 200 museums worldwide. Discover a large collection of his artwork in a 4,500 square-feet, glass and steel structure known as the Glasshouse. Just outside of the Glasshouse, you can walk through a beautifully designed botanical garden that also features Mr. Chichuly’s glass art.

Harbor Cruise

While on working as a physical therapist in Seattle, a great outdoor adventure is a tour of the city by water. During a one-hour narrated cruise, you can catch views of the city’s waterfront and Puget Sound. You’ll be able to photograph breathtaking views of Mount Rainier and the Olympic Mountains. You might even get to see harbor seals or California sea lions in their natural habitat.

Pacific Science Center

If children will be with you during any part of your assignment as a physical therapist in Seattle, they will love Pacific Science Center. The interactive technology, math, and science exhibits are designed to capture kids’ attention and spark their imagination. An IMAX theatre is in the Center, too.

Museum of History & Industry

The Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI) has permanent exhibits that tell the story of how Seattle evolved as a city. Temporary exhibits offer education about the city’s history in music, food, aviation, the arts, and industry.

"Absolutely amazing to work with! Ashley Steen and Amanda Valenziano are perfection. I couldn't be happier to be working with cross country. Despite multiple recruiters calling daily it isn't always about the money but the way you are treated. Thank you for the opportunity." - Amy D RN RRT-NPS
